JOB SUMMARY

CSU Global is seeking a Part-Time Admissions and Operations Specialist (“Specialist”). This is ***an in-person role at the CSU Global office in downtown Denver*** that supports the Admissions, Enrollment, and Student Financial Services teams and other student support units as needed. The Specialist will receive and process transcripts, student finance documents/payments and military documents in an effective and timely manner.  The Specialist is also responsible for the retrieval of transcripts in various transcript management systems, and data entry and documentation in the university’s SIS (CampusNexus) and CRM (Salesforce). This role also supports requests for materials management and mailings for engagement activities, among other operational needs.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Admissions department duties include:
    • Open and process all incoming mail containing transcripts.
    • Utilize various transcript management systems (Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, Joint Services, internal systems, etc.) to retrieve student transcripts.
    • Scan, catalog, and attach transcripts to prospective student files in CRM.
    • Update student files in CRM 
    • Monitor and manage the Admissions email inbox.
  • Student Financial Services department duties include:
    • Open all incoming mail containing finance documents and checks from prospective and current students.
    • Open all incoming mail from military agencies that pertain to student accounts/military benefits.
    • Scan all military documents and student finance documents.
    • Scan checks and deposit them electronically. 
  • In partnership with divisional leadership, provide support for Strategic Engagement division operational needs.
    • Assist division leaders with mailing of student, alumni, partner, and stakeholder documents and items.
    • Assist division leaders with packaging or mailing tabling kits for admissions/enrollment outreach activities.
    • Upon request of Marketing and Communication, print, order and coordinate the distribution of informational flyers, promotional items, or other materials for external engagements.
    • Other departmental operational support as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

● Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.

● Minimum of two (2) years within higher education preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

● While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle or feel, and talk or hear.

● Ability to spend long durations of the workday in front of a computer monitor.
● Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
● The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

 

TOTAL COMPENSATION

 

Salary: $24 - $25 per hour.
